FSUN x JLG: Achieving Global Citizenship Through Public-Private Cooperation

The Foundation for the Support of the United Nations (FSUN) and Jia Law Group (JLG) will be co-hosting an event on December 10th.

FSUN x JLG Invitation

This event ("Global Citizenship Reimagined: Empowering Nonprofit and Private Entities to Invigorate Shared Humanitarian Ideals”) coincides with the celebration of International Human Rights Day, and this year marks the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a milestone document that proclaimed the inalienable rights belonging to all human beings. By bringing together diverse and socially conscious leaders from the nonprofit and business sectors, our hope is to maximize the value of public-private partnerships for optimal social impact. With topics anchored around the UN Sustainable Developments Goals (SDGs) and ESG principles, this launch forum can serve as a catalyst for a series of events focused around the broad themes of how each of us (and our organizations) can become more innovative globalists while simultaneously injecting new energy into the moral foundations undergirding the United Nations itself. We intend to distinguish our effort, however, by always recognizing the importance of moving beyond theoretical dialogue toward the creation of practical applications with measurable results.
