BIOGRAPHY
Alina Kaganovsky immigrated from the former Soviet Union to the United States as a child and grew up in New York City. These early experiences shaped her lifelong commitment to advocating for immigrant communities. After earning her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2007, she began her legal career working on family-focused immigration matters, where she developed a strong foundation in delivering high-quality, client-centered legal assistance. In this role, she also gained meaningful insight into policy advocacy and impact-driven litigation strategies, further deepening her resolve to support vulnerable families.
Building on this foundation, Alina went on to develop over eight years of extensive experience in immigration litigation and complex removal defense in private practice. She has represented clients before USCIS, Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the U.S. Circuit Court, managing matters from initial intake through final resolution. Her work spans naturalization, asylum, and business immigration, including E-1, E-2, and H-1B classifications.
Drawing on this breadth of experience, Alina is known for her meticulous preparation, strategic creativity, and compassionate approach.
