BIOGRAPHY
Lindsey Kreamer is a Junior Immigration Litigation Associate at Jia Law Group, where she represents clients in both affirmative and defensive immigration matters. Her practice includes removal defense and family-based immigration, and she is dedicated to providing strong advocacy for each of her clients.
Prior to joining Jia Law Group, Lindsey worked at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark as a Staff Attorney and previously as a Law Clerk/Legal Assistant. In these roles, she prepared immigration applications and supporting documents, conducted country conditions research, took client declarations, and represented non-detained individuals before the Newark Immigration Court and U.S. immigration agencies.
During law school, Lindsey gained extensive hands-on experience through the Refugee & Immigrant Rights Litigation Clinic at St. John’s University School of Law, where she drafted memoranda of law, affidavits, and evidentiary submissions in support of asylum and deportation defense cases. She also served as a Research Assistant focusing on international law and human rights diplomacy, and as a Senior Staff Member of the Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development.
Lindsey earned recognition as a St. Thomas More Scholar and received the Dean’s Award for Excellence for her work in the Refugee & Immigrant Rights Litigation Clinic.
CREDENTIALS
Lindsey earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law (Queens, New York) and her B.A. in English and French, summa cum laude, from St. John’s University (Staten Island, New York). She was awarded the Gold Key for the highest GPA in the English major and the Silver Medal for the second-highest GPA in the College of Liberal Arts, in addition to multiple academic honors. She studied abroad in Paris and completed independent research on LGBTQ+ literature in both U.S. and French contexts.
She is admitted to practice law in the state of New York and is conversational in French.
