移民局最新消息称，H-1B电子注册系统已经顺利完成试点测试。所有即将参加2021财年H-1B申请，且受抽签名额限制的申请人，必须首先进行电子注册，并缴纳10美金电子注册费。电子注册开放日期初步确定为2020年3月1日至3月20日。移民局后续抽签流程将在电子注册的申请人中进行。
目前，没有确定的是从完成电子注册到实际交件，留给申请人的准备时间有多久。因此，从开始就按照会被抽中且可以顺利通过审理的标准来准备申请材料十分必要。
